County Cup Finalists 2012
Stoke Golding Under 18's squad enter into their fourth
season as a group full of enthusiasm for what will be their last year in
Youth football. The boys deserve great credit for their hard work which has
seen them rise from the humble beginnings of Division 5 to going out in
style having reached Premier League status, an achievement which fills the
Management team of Barrie Coe and Tim Kent with both excitement and
anticipation, but also with the knowledge that more hard work throughout the
season will be required to fulfil their ultimate goal of success at the top
table of local football in this age group.
The Season ahead will, we are
sure be our most challenging, but also our most rewarding as we see the boys
finish their personal development through the Youth system before moving on
to Adult football, where we are sure they will become good assets to any
Club they join.
The boys have trained throughout
the summer showing their commitment to the challenge and the squad is
looking good, but as all Managers will testify there is always room for a
few new faces to freshen up the team, and keep people on their toes To
this end we welcome anybody to come along and join us at training held at St
Martins School, Stoke Rd, Stoke Golding, on Saturdays between 9.30 and
