WELCOME TO STOKE GOLDING FOOTBALL CLUB
(One Hundred Years of Village Football)

Adult and youth football has been at the heart of Stoke Golding village for at least the last hundred years.  However, Stoke Golding Football Club (formerly Stoke Golding Youth Football Club) as it stands today was formed in late 2000, starting with only a handful of players and a few committed parents.

Since this time SGFC has gone through something of a revolution, boasting successful squads/teams in nearly all of the age groups with over 100 youth players regularly being coached and managed by enthusiastic and committed managers/parents.

Under the careful leadership of a strong and enthusiastic committee , SGFC have developed into a strong local resource for the young people with a great reputation in and around the Borough of Hinckley and Bosworth.

Run and funded from the 'ground up' by volunteers and businesses from within the local community, SGFC are committed to the sporting and social development of young people, regardless of age, gender or disability.

From our home grounds on Hall Drive (The Recreation Ground) and St Martin's Playing Field (on Stoke Road) we aim to provide continuity all the way through to senior level and are committed to funding parents and volunteers in areas such as soccer coaching, first aid and child protection.

Please enjoy our site and check back with us often, as pages are updated on a weekly basis.  If you would like more information, just use the 'contact us' (top right) facility and we will get back to you ☺

Are you following SGFC on Facebook?

A new group has been set up on Facebook (Stoke Golding Football Club)
to publicise SGFC.

We will be using this page/group to keep members informed, to pass on messages, ask opinions and to advertise our events.  Teams can maybe use it to discuss their matches and results and also to publicise the details of their next match, timings, training, locations etc perhaps?

Why not take a look?  Click on the link on the Facebook page to be added to the group...
